The trail begins at the exit of Caleijão towards Preguiça, following a path lined with stone walls, which passes by the house where the writer Baltazar Lopes was born and which can be seen. As you continue along the trail, you pass areas where grazing and livestock raising were abundant, evidenced by the division of the land by stone walls, now invaded by a grove of noisy acacia trees, which border part of the trail. You then arrive at Aguada, a ship refueling site in ancient times, making it an ideal spot for a short break before reaching Preguiça. The final part of the trail is along the main road to Preguiça, ending at the fishing pier.
